Attorney Hassold together with attorney Christian Röhl is in charge of the Intellectual Property / IP department at RDP.

The core of the lawyer's activity lies in representing and advising companies, freelancers and start-ups in all matters relating to competition law, intellectual property as well as trademarks and other property rights. Media law is also a central aspect of his advisory work.

In the mentioned fields, Mr. Hassold advises and represents clients in relation to the acquisition, defence and marketing of their intellectual property, warning letters within copyright and competition law, licence agreements, all questions of media and internet law, e-commerce, broadcasting and telecommunications law as well as press, publishing law and the law of free expression.

In addition, together with Mr. Röhl, Mr. Hassold advises and represents a large number of companies of various sizes with regard to their trademark portfolios, defending them in trademark disputes, as well as providing trademark searches and registrations.
